Lesson 2 - Light Sensor

The mCore has a light sensor built into it.  It looks like a clear glass bulb sticking straight out of the mCore.  It is next to the clear IR LED and labelled below:

This is known as the light sensor "on-board".

The one thing you should note about this light sensor is that it is in close proximity to the RGB LEDs.  The RGB LEDs can interfere with the light readings if they are too bright!

This light sensor outputs readings from 0 - ~190 depending on how much light is present.
