Lesson 5 - RGB LED

An RGB LED is an LED that can shine Red, Green and Blue and every shade in between.

It has 4 prongs coming out of it.  1 for each color (red, green, blue), and one for ground (GND).  The GND or Cathode prong is always the LONGEST!

By powering the red, green or blue prongs with analogWrite you can generate different colors.

Like all LEDs, you MUST use resistors when using the RGB LED so it does not burn out!
